We’re (almost) ready to close out 2021 – but we need your help!

2022 is right around the corner – and after listening to powerful leaders from the Comité, we couldn’t be more excited to put their vision into action!

All of CDM’s work is built from the ground up. Our goals and strategies stem from the experiences and priorities of migrant workers across borders. As a group of over 100 migrant leaders representing a range of industries and visas, CDM’s Migrant Defense Committee (Comité) is at the heart of this process.

Earlier this month, during the Comité national meeting, dozens of migrant leaders gathered to discuss last year’s impact and plan their strategies for 2022. Together, they identified priorities ranging from gender equity to access to justice to transparency. The Comité’s vision was clear and ambitious.

The Comité’s priorities will guide CDM’s journey in 2022 – that’s our new year’s resolution. The entire CDM team will work to ensure that migrant workers’ voices and experiences are guiding our work – from the policies we’re advocating to the cases we’re litigating to the content we’re creating. We resolve to take these priorities to policymakers and allies across the globe and amplify them in the media.

What now? We have a clear, worker-centered direction and unwavering commitment from our team and allies. But we need your help. Will you join us in advancing migrant justice by making a donation before closing out the year?

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy new year.

In Solidarity,
